A Certain Hikikomori Bouquet-tan 3 [Orange Farm Archive]

Judgemento desu yo!  Start the real plot line already or face arrest!

I probably won’t drop railgun because it’s so short and Kuroko is endlessly entertaining to watch, but overall the reason why I dislike J.C. Staff is simply proving itself again.  Their filler is horrible and they’re trying to sustain a show off fanservice alone.

The most entertaining part of the episode.

Maybe it’s because I hate Bouquet-tan, but this episode seemed fillertastic.  Episode one was amazing, episode two Kuroko-goodness was entertaining though a bit shallow, but this episode had very little to like.  Maybe they’re trying to expand on Uihara’s personality or something, but I didn’t think much of it.  Maybe they were planning to have two seasons of Railgun or something?  If the plot doesn’t start soon it might not be able to cover the four volumes in the remaing 11 or so episodes.

J.C. Staff is relying too much on that only Index watchers are watching Railgun.  Misaka’s personality in Railgun has been incredibly bland and people who haven’t seen Index most likely wouldn’t find much to like about her.  I personally believe she was the most interesting and developed character in Index (with the exception of maybe Touma), so seeing her in this role is a little pathetic.  Misaka is cool, but this series is short a moe light music band if they want to do this style.

Slice-of-life attack!

It isn’t very effective…

According to info from New Akiba, Railgun will be getting a total of 24 episodes, which may explain why they’re still laying off the canon plot and stretching it with fillers. So far the Manga has only two major arcs (the first one encompassed 16 chapters enough for 10+ episodes maybe; the second arc is still running), so perhaps it makes sense for them to pad the original story with random adventures like this.

But you’re right in saying that J.C.Staff is throwing oil into fire this way. People who are already familiar with the story may forgive the fillers but it’s not surprising if many want to drop the show due to its lack of engaging plot and momentum at the beginning.

Anime News Network still has it listed as 12. I heard around the blogosphere that it might get upped to 24, but wasn’t aware that Akiba actually reported it.

Well, I wouldn’t mind 24 episodes of railgun, but it better start picking up. Maybe J.C. Staff is flaunting their Taiga Saimoe win? :3

I think they made a bunch of money with ToraDora and are wasting it. I know there are people who would laugh at me if they quoted this, but it was an engaging romance-novel story. I don’t think railgun has the substance to do that.

*facepalms* Here’s to another season of dealing with J.C. Staff fanboys.

With the crap KyoAni pulled last season it’s no wonder J.C Staff can afford to goof around like this. They’re the only big time show in town this season, and they know.

See? This is why I held off on my Index marathon. J.C. Staff could ALSO be trying not to steal thunder from Shakugan no Shana S which airs at the end of the week, but that makes little sense given that these shows are produced MONTHS before they air. The screenies continue to be interesting, but it looks like the fall season overall has few breakouts in store (although, I haven’t seen any of Book of Baltorra). T.T

Also, I know what you’re going to say and I have only one answer for you: “I got better.”

Well, Index features an awesome character named Misaka who develops alot during the course of the show, and I personally find her better than the main heroine.

I sure wish she had her own spin-off serie——-FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF–
