Spice and Wolf 05 [Orange Farm Archive]

Economics Lesson

Oh now I get it.

We’re major faggots.  Please continue viewing your unlicensed episode by downloading via XDCC.

No wonder Lawrence is so despaired.  He’s going to lose profit, might lose his waifu, and now he can’t download his animu.  Also, he can’t talk either.  Anyone else notice Lawrence is sounding incredibly LeLouche this season?  Jun got a little too comfortable, I think.  He’s not distinguishing his voice well like he did when the series first aired.

I’ll save your ass next episode.

Dark alchemist is dark.  I enjoy the element she brings to the show, the ringleader of a non-hostile sort-of-underground alchemist society.  Seeing LeLawrence trying to do business with her was particularly entertaining.  As a character however, I can’t say much for her.  I hope after this arc is over we don’t see much of her again.

This guy is a major bro.  In other news, I heard the price of wheat is about to go up…

A big fan of the animation of the scenery this episode, and the series in general.  Seems like it has a bigger budget than the original series.  I, for one, welcome the return of our wolf goddess.  Spice and Wolf is shaping up to be my favorite series of this season.  Though, since Endless Eight is over, Haruhi may make a come back, though I doubt it.  KyoAni, I am dissapoint.

Gold coins will prevent Lawrence from making his micro transaction with the alchemists and shows Amarty has more assets not stocked in pyrite than Lawrence thought.  Pretty sure Horo was using her ears to feed Amarty information as well.  Definitely didn’t like that – it seems a bit out of character for her.  I’m looking forward to their confrontation after this is all over.

I’m betting (ha!) on Horo forcing Lawrence to ruin himself for her and then leaving Amarty holding the bag.

I like this outcome for the following reasons:
    1. it was telegraphed by the “some things more valuable than money” speech.
    2. I feel Horo tricking Amarty is formulaic? Also, blondie seems too clever for that.
    3. It allows Horo to position herself as Lawrence’s most important asset. THAT’s what she’s after, not the best merchant.

    Also, nice site redeco.

I don’t think Horo is planning to ruin Lawrence. That’d be *really* out of character.

New episode is out, I’ll update what I think tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of this arc.

The redecoration is only for Comiket 76, but we’ll be moving to a new one permanently after C76 is over.

Arc concluded well. Just watched it this morning. ^_^

Horo is back to being Horo by the end. I would probably die for that woman, no lie.

Edite: Label your spoilers better Patches, hate them ;3
