Fighting Game Update [Orange Farm Archive]

Crucis Fatal Nerf v1.20 & BootFighter ULTIMATE Knight.

As you should all well know by now, Crucis Fatal Fake is a doujin fighting game for Fate/Stay Night.  As you should all well know by now, every patch has been nothing but Gilgamesh Nerf after Nerf…*punches the ground* nerf…after nerf…after nerf….

I mean…Crucis Fatal Fake v1.20! – with the long anticipated release of Dark Sakura and Dark Saber (Saber Alter), has finally arrived!!  You can read more about it over at Community Crucis.  My dedication over there has taken up a lot of my time over the past week, but expect a healthy K-ON post and maybe even a new video a bit later from me.

Beam Spam is a good break from Sword Spam.

Though if swords aren’t your thing you can try out some mecha~ Boot Fighter Ultimate Knight has been out since C75, but I haven’t heard much about it, so I thought I’d mention it.  For those of you who don’t have the original bootfighter, you can pick it up free, translated over at mirrormoon.  Basically it’s a mecha-fighting game (with glorius netplay included) that battles a bunch of mechs who each take after an operating system.  It’s pretty well made for a fan game and a fun way to kill a night.  Maybe I’ll post a more indepth guide later.

Need a break~

Sorry I don’t have much to say for my week of postless-ness.  Just been pretty busy with school, work, and Crucis.  Sure wish I had I a co-author to write this blog with…hey waitaminute…

    You could cry… Or, if you have a TV with a spare HD outlet, you could take your own “tools of otaku” advice and start with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131324

    And build a computer around it. I estimate that you can get up and running for $500 + a windows license. The HD runs right off the mother board and into the TV out of the box via on-board HDMI which also transmits SOUND. What’s more, you can probably use an in-room router or well-configured wireless to move the video files around, so you wouldn’t need much more than an 80-gig hard drive in the thing.

    Crunchyroll broadcasts in 720p, as well. I watched Hayate no Gotoku!! on HD on the flat screen earlier in the week. Totally worth it.

    One) Screw CrunchyRoll
    Two) I have a computer that has all the necessary tools.
    Three) I don’t have a TV.

    We’ll see though. I know as a pure otaku, this stuff should be watched on a giant HD tv, but I have watched anime on my computer for the last 8 years, have a lovely 22″ widescreen monitor, and just can’t see watching it any other way.

    But seeing sisters on the bigscreen like that…almost seems unreal ;_;
